Issue 13 is live! Submissions are open.

We are delighted to share issue 13 of The Incubator which features an interview with Gerard Brennan, author of Undercover, and a review of The Watch House by Bernie McGill from Claire Savage.

There is new fiction from: Mandy Taggart, Lesley Walsh, Máiréad Casey, Marc de Faoite, Andrew Maguire, Sharon Thompson, Réaltán Ní Leannáin, Simon Henderson, A. Joseph Black, Barbara Lovric and Robert Barrett.

And memoir from: Brian Kirk, Kathryn O’ Regan and Martin Cromie.

We know that many of you love to hold a physical journal in your hands and you are very welcome to purchase a print copy from Peecho, but just a reminder that we do not receive funds from you doing so. Issue 13 and past editions can be read here, and we encourage you to download our pdf for free. And of course, share, share, share!

Our submission window is now open and will close at the end of August. This is the only month that we seek one scene plays, and, as always, we will be looking for unpublished short stories and flash fiction. Please check our guidelines as there have been some recent changes to our maximum word count.

Warmest wishes!

Issue 3 is live! Submissions are open for Issue 4.

Issue 3 is here!

We are delighted to share the fiction/essay issue with you. On Saturday 29th November we were joined by the writers of many of the pieces for a launch and reading at Ards Arts. As usual, it was a brilliant evening.

Now you can read the stories here.

Also, all of this month we will be open for submissions of fiction (flash and short stories) and for poetry too. For full details please read our submissions page.

We look forward to your feedback on the new issue and to receiving more fantastic new writing from NI and Ireland.
